Delaware resident and Ravens season ticket holder, Jerome Kossol, drove his 2013 Chrystler 200 to the Patapsco light rail station to ride the light rail to M&T Bank Stadium on September 28, 2014. That night, Kossol watched the Ravens win 38-10 against the Carolina Panthers, but he lost his car to Terrell Myers.

Public Enemy Number One, Darryl Anderson, was sentenced Tuesday to life plus 240 years for several violent offenses including two counts for murder in the second degree, and six counts of attempted murder in the second degree.

Neferkhper Uaenra-el, also known as Reginald Bellamy, was sentenced Tuesday afternoon to life plus 20 years. Bellamy was convicted in October of 1st degree rape, 1st degree sex offense, attempted 1st degree sex offense, and false imprisonment. Bellamy had previously been convicted of attempted murder in Montgomery County.

Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore City State’s Attorney, announced the second indictment against Michael Maurice Johnson for the murder of Phylicia Barnes today. Johnson was charged with 2nd degree murder.

Fifty year old, Charles Johnson, was beaten to death with what investigators believe to be a utility wrench in July of 2012. On Wednesday, James Pitts and Tyrell Brogden were found guilty of 2nd degree murder for beating Johnson—at total stranger to both Pitts and Brogden—to death in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. Assistant State’s Attorney Sharon Holback prosecuted the case.

Patrecio Brown was found guilty on Tuesday January 27th, 2015 of attempted distribution of cocaine and possession of cocaine. Brown’s sentencing hearing is set for April 27th, 2015. Assistant State’s Attorney Cara Lewis tried the case.

On January 14, 2015, a Baltimore City jury found Alvin Kelley Jr., 27, guilty of 2nd degree murder and use of a handgun during a crime of violence in relation to the death of Jefferie Allen Thomas, Jr. The shooting occurred on August 4, 2012, in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Avenue in Baltimore City.

Baltimore City Assistant State’s Attorney, Jeffrey Finucane, obtained a conviction against Antonio L. Edwards on felony possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a crime of violence Tuesday, January 27th, 2015.

At an all-staff meeting held in the auditorium of Baltimore Police Headquarters, members of the State’s Attorney’s Office convened to learn about the new organizational direction of the office. Newly elected Baltimore City State’s Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, also announced new hires and internal promotions to key roles in her administration.
