Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City

The undergraduate internship program is designed to cultivate the interest of undergraduate students in the role of a prosecutor in Baltimore City and for the SAO to create a pipeline for prospective employees. Students can expect to be assigned to one unit for the duration of their internship. However, in rare instances the needs of the office may require a student to split time between two units. Students are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week. Where academic credit hours are sought, the student bears the responsibility of advising the office of the academic requirement and guaranteeing that necessary hours are completed. Undergraduate internships are unpaid positions.
