The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant for its Conviction Integrity Unit. 

The Administrative Assistant position assists with all aspects of collateral docket preparation and maintaining files. Collateral docket preparation includes gathering probation violation reports online and from the Clerk’s Office.

The candidate will maintain the collateral docket calendar for the unit and will serve as a contact person for last minute staffing requests for hearings, i.e. bail reviews. The candidate may provide back up for reception, processing of Maryland Public Information Act requests or expungements as needed. 

The candidate will be responsible for gathering mail for the unit, filing pleadings with the Court and delivering time sensitive mail. General office responsibilities will include being the designee for maintaining and requesting office supplies for the unit, scanning, copying and faxing documents as needed. 

This full-time position will be located at 120 East Baltimore Street. 


Applicants must possess a college or associate’s degree. Applicant should be motivated, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and be able to meet deadlines. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. The candidate must be tech capable and have the ability to learn and use various computer and technological applications proficiently. 

Salary: ($31,142 - $36,634)
