The Office is seeking an Assistant State’s Attorney to work as a Prosecutor in the Police Integrity & Public Trust Division, 10th Floor 120 E. Baltimore Street. The ASA will assist in investigating and prosecuting cases involving police misconduct and public fraud.

Job Description:

The Police Integrity & Public Trust Unit is based on a vertical prosecution model. Assistants are assigned case investigations as soon as the BCPD receives notice that an incident has occurred in the City. Once assigned, the ASA keeps the case through resolution. Additionally, ASAs work with the Baltimore Police Department Office of Legal Affairs on discovery issues involving officer credibility.

Requirements:

Applicants are required to possess three (3) years of felony trial experience. They must have prosecuted at least five (5) felony trials to verdict.

The ability to work in a high pressured environment is essential.

Salary Range: Starting salary is $65,900.
