The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant for its Conviction Integrity Unit. 

The Administrative Assistant position assists with all aspects of collateral docket preparation and maintaining files. Collateral docket preparation includes gathering probation violation reports online and from the Clerk’s Office.

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill a position for its General Felony Trial Unit.

This administrative position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of case preparation to include: intake, case file closures, document/record preparation, indictment preparation, collating and mailing victim and witness notification packets, maintaining the grand jury log, ordering supplies, completing payroll, answering phones and general unit-wise assistance as needed.

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Assistant State’s Attorney (ASA) to handle Felony Trials in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.  An ASA handling felony cases performs progressively responsible legal work for the State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City involving, preparing and litigating felony cases of varying complexity as well as a wide variety of other legal matters. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.

The Office is seeking an Assistant State’s Attorney to work as a Prosecutor in the Police Integrity & Public Trust Division, 10th Floor 120 E. Baltimore Street. The ASA will assist in investigating and prosecuting cases involving police misconduct and public fraud.

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position for its Conviction Integrity Unit.  

Job Description:

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Assistant State’s Attorney (ASA) in the Special Victims Unit. The ASA will be co-located with partners at the Baltimore Child Abuse Center at 2300 North Charles Street Baltimore, MD, in order to collaborate with police and domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault advocates to support and enhance domestic violence and sexual assault investigations and cases.  This is a 1.5 year grant position, and continuation of employment is dependent upon renewal of the grant.

Job Description:

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Child Bereavement Therapist for the Family Bereavement Center. This is a 3 year grant-funded position.

The Family Bereavement Center in the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City provides counseling, court support, and other services to survivors of homicide victims. The therapists serve over 500 survivors of homicide each year and are the only therapists in Baltimore who provide individual counseling to survivors of homicide.
