Job Description:

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Assistant State’s Attorney (ASA) in the Special Victims Unit. The ASA will be co-located with partners at the Baltimore Child Abuse Center at 2300 North Charles Street Baltimore, MD, in order to collaborate with police and domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault advocates to support and enhance domestic violence and sexual assault investigations and cases.  This is a 1.5 year grant position, and continuation of employment is dependent upon renewal of the grant.

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Assistant State’s Attorney (ASA) for the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) pilot program. This is a one-year, grant funded position. The continuation of employment after the initial year is dependent upon the availability of future grant funds.

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City is seeking to fill the position of Assistant State’s Attorney in the Evidence Review Unit. The Unit is responsible for collecting, reviewing, notating, and disseminating evidence, the majority of which is Body Worn Camera (BWC) video to support the prosecutors within the Office. This position is located at Mitchell Courthouse located at 111 North Calvert Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

The Office of the State’s Attorney is seeking to fill the position of Data Analyst. The Data Analyst provides support for the Crime Strategies Unit (CSU) and executive staff of the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. The Data Analyst is responsible for professional-level work in the area of crime analysis and data-driven prosecution. The Data Analyst will work with various intelligence sources and data sets to draw connections between individuals and organizations, identify crime trends, and examine impediments to optimal administration of justice in Baltimore’s criminal justice system. The Data Analyst will also assist CSU in the production of briefings and reports detailing these findings.
